It had been a very long few days. Learning of her new home and status of being a religious object and somewhat of a guest on the Fleet, it was natural that she wanted to learn more about them. A few questions and a handful of directions had her directed to the large library that she had full access to. It was a wonderful feeling to be back in a space that felt somewhat like home. It might not have been the Senate building, or her private apartment, but it was the next best thing.

Striding through the stacks, she started for the computer system to pull up where the book might have been located. However, the system was unlike any catalogue she had ever used, or even could figure out. Writing down the call number for the book she wanted and a few others, she started her wandering.

After a half hour she could feel her frustrations rising, and of course had not seen a single Owmi to ask the entire time she had been there. Rounding a corner, she nearly collided with the long row of desks that offered a comfortable area to read and bright light to assist. The only soul that she'd seen since she arrived seemed to be deeply engrossed in something he was looking at. She felt bad but wandered over, gently clearing her throat as she approached.

"Excuse me, but I'm having some trouble finding a book here, would you be able to help me?"

Warily, General Hux looked up at the new voice. Why was someone bothering him? At first he was about to ignore her and continue working, but her tone and the way she seemed to hold herself caught his attention.

She was someone who was used to having authority. He hadn't dealt with many people here who acted that way. This could either go in his favor or not. However, with the way this place was, he wasn't putting much faith in it. Only, something about her seemed familiar. He couldn't quite place what it was. It would dawn on him later. He was usually good with faces. Instead, he paid attention to her request.

He shut the book closed that he was looking at and put the datapad he was taking notes with aside. "What book are you looking for?" Hux replied. "I don't work here, but I spend enough time here to understand this system and where to find what I need."

"The way the Owmi tend to operate is foreign for a lot of people. Even to those used to visiting other planets. As for the book, I actually have it in my pile." Hux replied. He was a little surprised to see someone else interested in the topic. At the same time he was relieved. He spent a few second shifting through his books and pulled out the copy she was requesting.

"It's a very dry read." he commented. "I can show you how to understand the library system at least, for future reference."

He gave a small smile in return as he got up from his chair. He then ushered her to follow him as he walked down the various sections of the library. He would then stop and indicate what was where and how to understand how to find the books.

Even with out his uniform he still walked and held himself as expected of his status. "May I ask, where you came from?"
